I just spoke at the Canadian Quality Congress on the topic of Measuring Value, Impact and ROI in Healthcare. The workshop attracted up to 200 people, and 16 countries were represented. All of the attendees are people involved in Quality and the focus of the conference was Healthcare.
The session attracted a significant number of people – with standing room available only, likely about 100 people – half of the full attendance.
The morning I presented it was 3c and raining!! Thankfully it warmed up by the afternoon and the weather didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm. The session Measuring Value, Impact and ROI was well received and it showed that there is a very high need for a credible process to show the value of programs, projects and improvement initiatives.
